About

I live in Montreal, Quebec. A nice blend of European and North American culture. Yeah, winters are cold here, but summer and fall are most beautiful seasons.

I grew up in Israel, was an officer in the Israeli army, and spent my childhood in the beautiful Pamir mountains of Tajikistan (part of soviet union back then, it borders of Afghanistan and China…) exploring with my parents (they are both geologists).

I work for myself as business and information technology consultant. After years of working for various companies from ground-up, to client facing, to mid-management positions, I felt I had to try it on my own… ideas and the drive I could not realize, expertise I wanted to share and grow… it was a high time and I decided to start it on my own. As one of my friends and mentors told me “I could see you running your own company, Anatoli;  you have entrepreneur in you”.

A few years later now, I work with various private and government organizations where I can share my expertise and have a fulfilling life helping my clients to succeed, while developing myself. I might go back working for someone, one day; it will have to be a challenging and fulfilling work, however.

I have had a journal for years now… writing it all for myself. Talking to friends, clients and business associates, I learned that some of ideas and topics that preoccupied me were of interest for them as well, so I decided to share these on the pages this blog.
